Will I get a copy of what is said on the day as a memento?

After the service, I will be outside, and I will hand you the printed copy of the service for you to keep.

I have searched the internet for celebrants in the area and I want you to be the celebrant for a funeral. What do I do now?

Firstly, thank you for choosing me to conduct your funeral service.

All you need to do is send me your contact details. You can use the send message form at the bottom of this website, to tell me your chosen funeral directors so I can contact them or introduce myself to them, in the event I have not conducted a service for them yet. Read more..

Do you work for a funeral home in particular?

No. I have been around my local area and visited all the homes from Bognor Regis to Midhurst, Chichester to Selsey, Havant to Hayling Island. Horndean to Guildford and over to Farnborough and the surrounding areas. Portsmouth to Fareham! They should have my details.

What if the funeral Directors have not used you before?

In the event that they do not recall me visiting them or have not used me before, then you can give them my contact details for them to contact me.

Will you only work with corporate Funeral Directors?

No. I work with ANY funeral Directors, Funeral Homes, be it a corporate High Street branch or Traditional Family ran homes or an Independent Funeral Parlour.

So How does it work?

Okay, so, when a family visits or calls a funeral home for the deceased, they SHOULD then ask your preferences to conduct your service by that I mean minister, Vicar/Priest, Humanist or Celebrant. then the funeral directors.

What happens if the funeral home has already assigned a celebrant, then I have come home and looked on the internet and found you?

I didn’t realise this myself prior to becoming a celebrant, however, you do not have to accept the celebrant they have chosen for you, you simply tell the funeral home you have changed you mind.
